Gen. 26:1 There was a famine in the land—aside from the previous famine [מִלְּבַד֙ הָרָעָ֣ב הָרִאשׁ֔וֹן] that had occurred in the days of Abraham—and Isaac went to Abimelech, king of the Philistines, in Gerar.
Why must the story of Isaac tell us that this was not the same famine that occurred to Abraham?
