Exodus 39:2
The ephod was made of gold, blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and fine twisted linen [שֵׁ֥שׁ מָשְׁזָֽר].
This expression appears nowhere else but in the second half of the book of Exodus. What in the world is twisted linen, and why does מָשְׁזָֽר mean that?
