Korah 5782

This is Torah Talk for the week of June 26th, 2022

Num. 16:30 But if the LORD brings about something unheard-of [וְאִם־בְּרִיאָ֞ה יִבְרָ֣א יְ׳הוָ֗ה], so that the ground opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into Sheol, you shall know that these men have spurned the LORD.”

Did the Lord really “bring about something unheard-of,” and is that really what בְּרִיאָ֞ה means?
